It's that time of year again and the kids are back in school so please remember to drive safe and slow down through the school zones. We here at the Channahon Fire Protection District would like to thank all of you who came to the Safety Trailer at the Three Rivers Fest this past week. We hope we provided you and your children with valuable life saving information and techniques should you experience a fire in your home.

Also, we would like to remind everyone that Fire Pervention week is October 6th - 12th. Please come and join us here at Channahon Fire Station 1 on October 11th for our annual Open House. This is a great opportunity for you to meet us, and for us to show you some of our equipment and how we use it.
